Our Founder
In the small town of Sangli, Maharashtra, where old traditions often overshadow big dreams, our founder, Ranu, embarked on a journey to challenge the status quo. Growing up in a conservative Indian family, she faced period shaming, body shaming, and societal expectations. Rather than letting these experiences define her, she used them as catalysts for change, turning shame into strength and compassion into action.
With an IIM Bangalore degree and offers from top corporate jobs, Ranu had every reason to follow a conventional path. Yet, amidst boardrooms and corporate strategies, she dreamt of ending period poverty in India. This dream gave birth to Flawsome, a menstrual hygiene brand dedicated to making menstrual products accessible to all.
Our Mission
At Flawsome, we create innovative menstrual products tailored for every menstruator. We educate all genders, fostering empathy and understanding. Through our sister brand, Utsav, we ensure no one is left behind by supporting those in need. Our mission is to make menstruation a dignified, inclusive, and empowering experience for all.
